Nuwara Eliya

The city that situated at the highest mountain range of Sri Lanka has a cooler climate compare to the rest of the country. It’s rich with lush green gardens, tea plantations and golf courses. The city is famous among the locals as ‘small England’ because of its preserved English architecture and the cooler climate. You will be surprised to find a fireplace in some of the colonial bungalows as you will find in English country houses. The Horton Plains and the World’s End are protected national parks with plenty of unspoiled green plains to be discovered.
